Another interview

I interviewed another roommate this afternoon. English is her second language as well. She enjoyed the conversation in the book and was able to follow along well. She thought the black and white worked much better than the previous color pages. She likes the idea of the book being a larger size and said she likes the square, 8" x 8"  size verses the rectangle, 4" x 6".

I do agree that a square would work better for your book cause of a lot of reasons, its not a conventional 'reading' book, it needs to stand out, the type seems to work better on it.

Is that making any sense? And yes I think by popular demand b&w wins. It's the most elegant style of the lot.

And I don't know if this makes any sense at all, but even though English is my first language, I like not being able to read everything at one go. It makes the book easy and not very memorable. I like having to solve the puzzle of finding a right word/sentence, cause that way I am more engrossed with the book and much more interested. It becomes a two way thing, unlike just reading it like a dead piece, the book comes alive when I interact with it.

Yes it makes sense! Thank you for the insight! I never really looked at it that way. I think there is fun in trying to figure out like you said, a puzzle. Very cool insight!
